STREET'STREET: WHITE DENIM FOR SUMMER!

http://www.facebook.com/pages/STREETSTREET/339203315338

WHITE DENIM FOR SUMMER!

G-Star at Hammerstein Ballroom .

G star SCREAMS '' WHITE DENIM'' the look for coming season. Experimenting with their look, this time around presented an army of tough, monochrome urbanites.

G-Star as always experiments with the way denim is worn usually. A long white tuxedo jumpsuit with revealing slits cut up each side had a trompe l'oeil bolero in the brand's signature fabric attached at the shoulders.Denim with floral kind motifs ( i always hated it) but g-star makes it look dandy and cool.
Not to mention the look for women. teeny-tiny denim bikini. But these shorts would probably do best under a skirt (THEY MIGHT GIVE IT TO LADY GAGA FOR HER GROCERY OUTING).

Guests present were Lindsay Lohan, Taylor Momsen, Jared Leto.

SCREAM OUT LOUD!!!

Indeed, must we all need to realize this.
How badly that we might want to be the one with 'style' not all of us realize the right portions of the formula that is going to make it work.
But you can tell yourself "I can be a freak, every day of every week,"
Jeremy Scott unveiled his fall 2010 collection in NY yesterday and sure we could say that only a fashion freak like him defines the formula in his own right.

Street Etiquette ‘Sewn From The Soul’

February-recognized as the shortest month of the year. It is also recognized as Black History Month, which embodies the progression of African American culture in various ways. Some people may find grief in recognizing the month as its own separate entity, yet to others the month provides a spotlight that shines on many African American notables from the past and present, who’s waves of accomplishment have sounded throughout the world.
Sewn From the Soul is an online editorial project brought to light by seven friends who have all collaborated together in order to see a bigger picture; ultimately meshing and intertwining Style and History.  History is important as it gives us the ability to trace back what has occurred previously to help us better direct ourselves to the future. Style contributes to one’s overall character and truly dictates our persona in everything that surrounds us. We all contributed our individual style to this editorial and used a primarily monochromatic palette to assist the Black History Month theme.

I am personally strictly against racism, and i urge you people to also join in and help in eradicating this shameful thought from the societical system of the world.

Project LV | Wolverine No. 1883 “Preston” Shoes

“Preston” shoes from their “No. 1883″ collection charmed us at Project LV. “Distinctive style and expert craftsmanship combine to create the Preston. A supple full-grain leather upper is highlighted with contrast stitching while a full-leather over foam footbed cradles the foot, providing all-day comfort.”

A quick teaser from Spring Court’s Autumn/Winter 2010, straight from the Project LV floor. Spring Court has a few more surprises lined up for the coming Fall. Padded tongues and more special editions among them. Price points may rise a bit but the quality is rising with it.

Tretorn T-56 GTX is a fully lined, slim lined Gore-Tex sneaker. The tongue is fully gusseted, meaning even more water and cold protection. Originally conceived through collaboration with Stockholm-based retailer Sneakers and Stuff, the model (not surprisingly) comes direct from Tretorn’s 1956 catalog.

the Tarmac bag is built of hydrofoil. This makes it water proof and durable. The addition of a short strip of reflective tape is a nice touch as well.

PAUL SMITH - (sent things).

In an interview to designboom-

I don't know whether it's a girl or a boy, I only know this fan is from USA.
for 15-20 years I received quite funny things from 'him', these include a surfboard,
football, broom, stepladders, sledge, watering can, fishing rod, piece of wood and much,
much more. only a few are shown here.
they are always sent to me with the stamps and address on the object and NEVER in a box.
it's amazing that they really arrive to destination... that the post offices don't stop them.

Paul smith-
Born in nottingham in 1946.
he left school at the age of 15 with the sole ambition of becoming a racing cyclist,
until his father hauled him off to work at a clothing warehouse.
it wasn’t until an accident put an end to his dreams of becoming a racing cyclist that
paul smith started to get more involved in his job, and it was pure coincidence that he
met pupils from an art college and became interested in art and fashion.
Smith began studying tailoring in the evenings, and with the help of his girlfriend
(now his wife), pauline denyer, who had a fashion degree from the royal college of art,
he opened his first boutique in nottingham in 1970.
in 1976, he showed his first menswear collection in paris under the paul smith label.
today there are 13 collections sold in seventy five countries.
paul smith shops are found in london, paris, milan, new york, LA, san francisco,
antwerp, singapore, hong kong, soeul, moscow, cape town and over 200 throughout
japan. paul smith continues to be an integral part of the company; he is both designer and chairman.

pixel It! & Shuffle it!

This is time when the word 'pixel' should also be a working verb in the dictionary. If you do not agree, go ahead and check this crazy site where you can seriously convert any picture from your personal collection and 'pixel it'. Then shuffle the pixels at your own sweet will. A kinda deconstruction of an image. No more wasting time, try it. Its fun to look at your dissected face or a dissected landscape in a matter of few seconds.
I dissected one of the fish-world graphics I was working on. Helped me realize there were so much more to it to explore. The journey has just become.
